Well received and well reviewed, this book has amazing simple recipes on the lighter side and offers well balanced menus. It's also a book perfect for pescatarians. This was one of my first cookbooks and has been well used ever since. I'd say it's definitely easy for when you're just starting out in the kitchen and offers traditional recipes with a twist (like corn bread/scones or sauteed bananas). It's my go-to cookbook when I don't know what to make.
